Model and serial number, off the sticker inside the door frame or behind the toe grille. It decides which part goes on the van.

Anything on the display, exactly as it reads. A code narrows a control fault to one circuit before anyone opens the machine.

When it started, and what changed just before. A fault that appeared after a power cut is a different fault from one that crept up over a month.

Every figure below is a range covering parts and labour on Viking equipment. Which end of it you land on depends on the part and how far into the machine it sits — that is a thing to be measured, not guessed at over the phone.

Flat $89 service call covering the visit and full diagnosis, credited against the repair once you approve it.
The number is agreed before anything is dismantled. You get the band, then the firm figure once the fault is confirmed on site, and the work starts only after you say yes to it — so the $89 you have already paid comes straight back off the bill.
